რა არის ეპილეფსიური სტატუსი?

“ეპილეფსიური სტატუსი” არის სიცოცხლისთვის საშიში მდგომარეობა, რომელიც საჭიროებს ინტენსიურ სამედიცინო დახმარებას. ეპილეფსიურ სტატუსად მიიჩნევა ეპილეფსიური გულყრა, როდესაც იგი  გრძელდება  ტიპიურზე,  კერძოდ 5 წუთზე მეტხანს. ამ დროს თავის ტვინი განიცდის ჟანგბადის მნიშვნელოვან დეფიციტს და თავის ტვინის ნეირონები იწყებენ კვდომას. ეპილეფსიური სტატუსი საკმაოდ საშიში მდგომარეობაა და თუ არ მოხდა დროული სამედიცინო ჩარევა, შეიძლება ადამიანი დაიღუპოს. ამიტომ, ძალზე მნიშვნელოვანია რისკების დროული იდენტიფიცირება და შესაბამისი პრევენციული ან/და ინტერვენციული ღონისძიებების განხორციელება.
